Highest Unique Bid.
(HUB)
Bid entering fee is 2
credits. You do NOT pay for
the value of the bid until
you are the successful
bidder.
A UNIQUE bid means that
there is only 1 bid of that
value in the auction. If two
or more participants enter a
bid of the same value, then
the bid of that value is no
longer unique and becomes
void.
There are hundreds of unique
bids that can be entered in
an auction when it opens but
as the auction proceeds more
and more of them will become
void as members enter the
same values.
Every auction has a
reserve. The
reserve is the number of
bids that has to be received
to cover the purchase costs
of the auctioned StarCash
card.
The moment an auction
attains the reserve number
of bids, it starts counting
down to closing time, which
will be 48 hours later.
A countdown to closing time
appears on our home page, in
your members area and on the
'auction page'.
If the computer determines
at auction closing time that
your bid of say, $2.35 is
the highest unique bid in
that auction, and the value
of the auctioned card is say
$500, we will send you the
$500 auctioned StarCash
card and you only have to
pay $2.35 for it.
